Charles is a veteran of the Austin Irish scene, having been a session stalwart for many years. A long time guitarist, Charles switched to the bouzouki in 1998 and has been hooked ever since. Charles was formerly a member of the Austin band Tarbolton, and the Austin/Dublin band the Mad Trad Trio.
