Erin Bobruk began studying violin and piano at a very young age and soon realized her passion for singing. She is now pursuing a Masters in Vocal Performance and Music Therapy. She keeps up her love of the classics by singing with the Austin Vocal Arts Ensemble and the Texas Early Music Project where she is often a featured soloist. Erin began playing the Bodhran (Irish frame drum) in 2003 under the guidance of Rob Forkner, drum maker www.metloef.com, and Cluan’s former bodhran player, Chuck Wright. She is now enthusiastically providing the underlying pulse behind Cluan’s driving rhythms.
